Pay for plant pots? Ho ho, I think not.  These have mixed lettuce in them, as the writing on the one at the front helpfully states.

ev+a Boards

 

I was lucky enough to get accepted to ev+a this year.  It's a big city wide art exhibition that goes on in Limerick from March to May. For it, I'm going to plant edible plants throughout the city in disused planters and spots in the park so you can nibble your way through the city.  I'll post the artist statement when I have it written out properly.  In the mean time, these are some of the information boards that will be displayed in the planters.

Children's Mural

I got an enquiry about painting a mural in a children's centre in Limerick.  It was going to be a full room, not just a single wall.  This was as far as I got with the prep work before the project was dropped.  You can't tell because it's not drawn yet, but the fawn and mad-eyed cat are having a bit of a disco to a boom-box.  There were going to be robots and monsters and all sorts too.  They never even saw the drawings.  Sigh.

The very first damn thing! This is a rough for a logo for a college project, centred around stories in pubs.  Hopefully in a couple of months I'll be able to post the entire project.  Ooh, the excitement!
